Meatco, a leading meat processor in Namibia, has announced the winners of the Meatco Producer of the Year Awards. The prestigious awards ceremony recognised the outstanding achievements of dedicated livestock producers in the country.
The competition saw André Esterhuizen Senior crowned as the best commercial producer, securing the first prize in the Meatco Producer of the Year awards. Jaco de Klerk took the second position in the commercial producer category.
In a separate category, Robert Hauwanga from Rundu, Liyemo Mbangweta from Katima Mulilo, and Alfons Kahuure from the south of Namibia were honoured as the top communal producers. These individuals demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication to the livestock industry in their respective regions.
